Waitress Chester Theatre reviews
Fun, but a little bit off
I have Ivan Moody singing A Little Bit Off Today in my head now. Seen them many times over many years, love GGD. Never seen Johnny forget lines and make mistakes before. Lots of connections to the band. They sounded good overall, it wasnt too off putting, and played a lot of favorites.
We paid a little extra for a table at the venue. Tried like hell to get the attention of the waitress. Served tables around us, but not us. We tip well. We have empathy for service staff because we both did the job early in our lives. Maid I contact, waved, asked nicely when she passed by. She ignored us the entire night. This made no sense. Sat down 15 minutes before the start of the show. We walked out at the end of the show frustrated and thirsty.
Definitely messed up by the venue (Del Mar Fairgrounds), no fault of Waitress.
